ME...In a Nutshell

"Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, We'll wander back and home to bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade!" The life of me, the 21 year old college student who is constantly busy.

Catching Up - Part 1

Time to play catch up. For the sake of ease I will be doing this in several posts. So for starters I arrived safely after a long 13 hour flight on Friday. I got to the hotel and spent the remainder of my day laying around and waiting for Mom to arrive. She arrived at 2 AM and very happy reunions were had. The next day was spent getting our camper van and gathering supplies to said camper van. The camper van is very modest at best but for some reason or another they felt the need to add a towel warmer. Of all the things they could have added to improve the van, a towel warmer? Really? We then drove and found a nice campsite to spend the night.
After spending a night off the grid, we then drove up to Cathedral Cove. A fun 45 minute hike down to the cove and then we had arrived. If it seems to be familiar you may be recognizing it from the second Chronicles of Narnia movie.
After hiking back to the car we headed back down to Hot Water Beach. It is a fascinating place where during the low tide there is a small area on the beach where if you dig a hole in the sand, hot water rises from underground and creates your own little personal hot spring. Very fascinating stuff but due to hundreds of people we didn't participate in the digging since it was a bit on the cramped place. We hung out on the beach before heading back to our campsite and turning in for the night. Here ends part one of the catching up.
